I’m headed out to Tucson this Saturday for a cycling camp. There are about 30 athletes going. It will not be your std cycling camp… ride lots of miles at endurance / tempo pace.
We have 7 days of riding with one recovery day baked in there. The camp will focus on skills, execution, and hard efforts followed by recovery. So we are either doing an effort or recovering from an effort. Never riding tempo to hold a moderate pace. It’s going to be interesting to see how my fitness stacks up. There are some serious climbers going who will destroy me. But I should be able to hang on the rollers and flats. I’ll post throughout the week let you know how it’s going.
